The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) was adopted by the US Congress in 1976 and entered into force in 1977. The aim of the Act is to avoid unreasonable risks to human health or the environment and to restrict and/or prohibit chemical substances that present an immediate danger.

Application of ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU

As a major supplier to the European machine and equipment industry, we are periodically asked for our position regarding the conformity of EXMAR products to the EC Directive 2014/34/EU (better known under the name ATEX).

The European Pressure Equipment Directive DGRL 2014/68/EU has been definitively in effect since 19 July 2016, thereby taking on a legal character in the EU Area.

EXMAR fittings are not subject to the CE marking obligation.

Regulation (EC) No 850/2004 - provisions is to help protect human health and the environment, by including rules on the environmentally sound recovery and disposal of products containing persistent organic pollutants (organic compounds).

Dual Use Goods are goods that were primarily manufactured for a civilian use, but can also be used for military purposes. EXMAR products do not fall under that category.
